Job Description:
The School of Public Affairs invites applications for a full time tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant or associate professor in the Department of Public Policy and Administration beginning in Fall 2010 in the area of public sector leadership and governance in developing countries.
The successful applicant will contribute to our dynamic and growing graduate program in public policy and administration through development of a strong, externally funded research program, contributions to graduate teaching and master's thesis supervision, and participation in program development. Preferred areas of expertise include but are not limited to design and implementation of public sector reform, leadership in public sector and non-profit management, and public governance.
Requirements:
Ph.D. from the United States or Western Europe preferred, preferably with postdoctoral research, teaching, and/or program management experience in a developing country.
Senior professionals with at least 20 years of international professional experience, teaching experience at the university level, and a strong master's degree will also be considered for term appointments as professors of the practice.
