Job Description:
The Department of Economics seeks an assistant or associate professor of Econometrics for a full time, tenure-track position. The successful candidate will teach econometric theory, time-series analysis, quantitative finance, and applied econometric techniques at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Applicants should be acquainted with the common packages in econometrics and statistics and should be prepared to engage actively in research and supervise master's theses in applied economics and econometrics.
Requirements:
The applicant must have a Ph.D. in Economics by the time of appointment, preferably with a record of excellent scholarship and teaching.

Representatives of the Department of Economics will interview at the January 2010 ASSA Meetings in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A.
