Job Description:
The Department of Economics seeks applicants for a full time, tenure-track position at the assistant or associate professor rank. The successful candidate should be specialized in Development Economics. Possible fields of interest include but are not limited to: public finance, Middle East Economics and International Economics. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching, engage actively in research and supervise M.A. theses. All faculty must be willing to teach principles courses.

Requirements:
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Economics by the time of appointment, preferably with a record of excellent scholarship and teaching.

Representatives of the Department of Economics will interview at the January 2010 ASSA Meetings in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.
