Job Description:
The Department of Arab and Islamic civilizations is searching for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Modern Arabic Literature where applicant will teach courses in all genres of modern Arabic literature. Courses will be conducted in Arabic and English. The candidate is expected to have relevant teaching experience at the university level and publications. Successful candidates will teach three courses per semester at the undergraduate, graduate and Core Curriculum levels.
Requirements:
Ph.D. by September 1, 2010, is required.

Tenure track position.
