Job Description:
The Department of Management of the School of Business invites applications for a position in Management Information Systems. Responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate teaching in the Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and in the MBA program. The applicant should be actively engaged in research to maintain AACSB accreditation and have a solid understanding of the developments and emerging trends in information and communication technology as well as management information systems. Applicants will also be expected to engage in ongoing activities in the department as well as undertaking development activities consistent with teaching and research.

Requirements:
Ph.D. is required. A Ph.D. from an AACSB accredited university is preferred.  
 
Applicants should demonstrate high potential for a strong record in research and excellent student evaluation in teaching. The successful applicant will have expertise in one or more of several possible subfields, including management support systems, IT project management, database management, networking, electronic business, and software development.

Additional Information:
The duration of the appointment is open to negotiation will begin September 2009. Renewal of an appointment depends upon institutional needs and/or the appointee's performance.
